Deb has been involved in the Worker’s Compensation field since 1984. She began her career as a Technical Writer and then worked as a Legal Assistant for a large area law firm in their litigation department. From that point, she began her career representing employers in their worker’s compensation needs. She began working for this organization as a Hearing Representative, taking hearings before the Industrial Commission of Ohio on behalf of her client base. This quickly grew into a Client Services and Claims Management role for the company. She has held positions of Director of Claims, Vice President, and her current position of President.

Deb has focused much of her career providing customer service above and beyond the expectation of her clients. She also takes great pride in her staff members. She is extremely experienced in the self-insured application process and has been instrumental in many clients going from a state fund to self-insured resulting in thousands of dollars of savings for many of her clients.

Deb holds an Associate’s Degree in Legal Assisting from the University of Toledo. She also earned a Bachelor’s Degree from that same institution in Human Resource Management with a minor in Finance. She is an active member of the Ohio Self- Insurer’s Association (OSIA), Northwest Ohio Self-Insurer’s Association (NWOSIA) wherein she has been the Treasurer since 2011. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Northwest Ohio Human Resource Association (NOHRA).

She resides in Delta Ohio with her husband and teenage son. She enjoys spending time with her family of five children, nine grandchildren, and her variety of pets. She is also an experienced hand quilter and loves to read.
